Hidden Lungs

My project is a pixilated version of a PET Scan image. There are 225 squares that are each filled with a unique set of lungs. These squares make up the enlarged picture of a PET Scan image. This project is interesting because there is more to see from just a quick glance. There is a different picture when you look up close or from far away. This goes along with the saying there’s more than meets the eye.

On the Outside

eXpressions™ Award: Red Ribbon

My project is an abstract representation of a PET scan image. It is divided into six squares of a PET scan image. It is divided into six squares and each square has different colors. The colors are all bright except for in one square. In that square there is a small black circle representing a pulmonary nodule. The squares are mounted in a box with six windows showing the six squares of the PET scan.
