eXpressions™ Award: Blue Ribbon
My artwork shows the diversity in race. Different races are represented with the colors of yarn. The color of the shadow box itself represents different races also. The circle in the middle, made by the strings, signifies unity.

All Walks of Life is a piece that focuses on diversity in social class. Different shoes represent different classes. The silhouette shows a barn, a city skyline, a suburban setting, and smokestacks. The shoes are tied together, showing unity; the entire piece is painted white and then splattered with colors to show that we are all, overall, alike, yet different in small, colorful, fun ways.
