eXpressions™ Award: Red Ribbon

This picture was inspired by research into mental illnesses, and the positive ways aside from medication to treat them. It shows a transparant human face and a brain, colored to show the different important areas. One side of the picture is black, and is starting to surround the brain. This represents an illness. I used different shades of colors and shapes to represent expressions of emotions, which is a positive way to work through depression or other mental disorders. This picture was done entirely in oil pastels.
