John Hay Educational Partnership
Kristian Walker graduated from John Hay in 2004. Portions of her Senior Research project were published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine and the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport.
“I liked the Medical Biological program because of the experiences all of our rotations at The Clinic provided us. I would recommend the Medical Biological program to others because it provides you hands-on experiences with many different areas such as labs, patient care, administrative work and patient interaction. The Medical Biological program has positively influenced my life academically because of the dedication of all of the individuals involved in the program willing to take the time to help me achieve and succeed academically and with my research, and personally by providing me with many different opportunities for me to choose from while deciding on a career path. The hardest thing to overcome this year was, when presented with situations where a choice was necessary, learning how to determine which was more important – a school event or our rotation.”
