Life in Cleveland

Cleveland is the picture of economic development and urban revitalization, featuring a host of cultural and recreational attractions. Cleveland has nearly 90 residential communities, with a score of other suburbs located just beyond the metropolitan area. This is an all-American city that prides itself on its cultural and ethnic diversity.

Greater Cleveland offers a wealth of activities and destinations ranging from theater and the arts to professional sports. As the "Great Lakes City on America's North Coast," Cleveland offers sailing enthusiasts, boaters, swimmers and fishermen abundant lakeshore to enjoy, as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center and OMNIMAX Theater. The natural woodland Metroparks are an "Emerald Necklace" surrounding the city containing picnic areas and miles of bicycling, hiking, jogging and horseback riding areas. There is also great enthusiasm for spectator sports in Cleveland: Indians, Browns, Cavaliers.

CCLCM itself is located near the University Circle Area, which includes Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Natural History Museum, the Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Museum of Art and several other regional and specialized historical museums. Also nearby are the restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, and movie theaters of Cleveland Heights and Little Italy.
