Welcome

We welcome your interest in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University (CCLCM).  Established as a partnership between the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University, CCLCM is a unique medical school program that sets new standards for the training of physician investigators through innovative approaches to the integration of basic science, research and clinical medicine.

James B. Young, MD
Executive Dean, CCLCM

We live in a time of immense expansion in scientific knowledge and technologic capability. With less than 2 percent of active physicians pursuing careers involving research, graduates of CCLCM help address the increasing shortage of physician investigators in the United States.

We are seeking to identify candidates who want to further advance the frontiers of biomedical research.

“CCLCM has everything I wanted in a medical school: small class size, individualized mentoring, and a problem-based learning curriculum… complemented by a committed first rate faculty and the opportunity to be trained as a physician and an investigator... Who could pass that up?”
Lauren Moore Class of 2010
