Paul J. Ford, Ph.D

Dr.
Ford joined the professional staff in the Department
of Bioethics
in the spring of 2001. At the cleveland Clinic his activities
include clinical ethics consultation, resident education,
research, and miscellaneous institutional service obligations.
Dr. Ford has performed over 400 ethics consult cases
during his
time at CCF. His primary research interest focuses on
ethical issues raised by neurosurgical
interventions
(functional
neurosurgery). He works with the Deep Brain
Stimulator Team and the Epilepsy Surgery Team. Dr. Ford
lectures
outside of the clinic on a range of issues that include
Neuro-ethics, Clinical Ethics Consultation, Transplantation
Ethics, and
