Jeffrey M. Goldberg, M.D. |
Jeffrey M. Goldberg, M.D., is head of the Section of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ in 1983. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH where he remained on faculty until joining the Cleveland Clinic in 1991. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and subspeciality board certified in reproductive endocrinology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His clinical interests are advanced endoscopic surgery, microsurgical tubal anastomosis, in vitro fertilization and reproductive endocrinology. His research interests include embryo co-culture, effect of oxidative stress on embryogenesis, and endoscopic treatment of endometriosis. Dr. Goldberg has published over 130 scientific articles, abstracts and book chapters and co-authored a book on gynecologic endoscopic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, The American Societies for Reproductive Endocrinologists and Reproductive Surgeons, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, The Pacific Coast Fertility Society and the Endocrine Society. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for Fertility and Sterility, The American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Human Reproduction. |
