Course objectives:

During the course each participant receives one-on-one training
to develop knowledge and skills in:

  • Procedure for freezing of ejaculated human spermatozoa
  • Cryopreservation of epididymal and vas deferens aspirates*
  • Isolation and cryopreservation of sperm from testicular biopsy specimens*
  • Protocol for cryopreservation of ovarian tissue from cancer patients*

* Demonstration only

Educational teaching methods:

  • Lectures
  • Laboratory training sessions
  • Interactive discussions

Each participant will receive:

Course duration:

Participants receive instructions in the following areas:

  • Demonstration of procedures - 2 hours
  • Laboratory training sessions - 6 hours
