Course objectives:

During the course each participant receives one-on-one training to develop knowledge and skills in:

• Preparation of ejaculated sperm for ART:
     - Sperm wash
     - Double density gradient technique
     - Swim-up protocol
• Method of retrieval of sperm from retrograde ejaculate ^*
• Sperm retrieval and preparation of testicular biopsy specimens (rat or mouse specimens will be used) ^*

Educational teaching methods:

• Lectures
• Laboratory training sessions
• Interactive discussions

Each participant will receive:

• Course syllabus.
• Certificate of training (issued upon successful evaluation by the instructor)
• Free library access.

Course duration:

Participants receive 2 days of instructions in the following areas:

• Lectures, discussions - 4 hours
• Laboratory training sessions - 12 hours
