Alumni - Andrology/Urology

Dr. Rima Dada completed her MD in Anatomy and PhD in Genetics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She is currently working as Associate Professor at AIIMS and is actively engaged in research, teaching and genetic diagnostic services.She was a visiting scientist in Andrology/ Urology from March 2009 to August 2009.


Vaishali Kale was a Research Fellow in Andrology at the Center for Reproductive Medicine from November 2008 to October 2009. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Virginia, USA. She was also the ART training In-charge during this period.

He finished his residency in Clinical Pathology from Menofyia University Hospitals, Menofyia University, Shibin El-Kom in 2001. Dr. Ragheb graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He finished his residency in Urology from Kasr Eleini Hospitals, Cairo University in 2005. He was an assistant lecturer in Urology at Beni Suef University, Egypt. Dr. Ragheb was a research fellow in Urology/Andrology at Cleveland Clinic from January 2008 to November 2009. He is currently a researcher in Urology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Moazzam graduated from King Edward Medical College, Pakistan in 1996. She is registered for Ph.D. degree at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. She was a Research Fellow in Reproductive Endocrine Unit of Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School from 2008 to 2009 and upon her return conducted part of her research at the Reproductive Physiology Lab of National Institute of Health, Islamabad. She was a research fellow in Andrology/ Urology at the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Reproductive Medicine from February 2010 to January 2011.

Aparna Thiyagarajan was a Research Fellow in Andrology/Urology at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic from February 2009 to January 2011. She completed her Masters in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproductive Techniques from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University in India. She graduated in August 2008.

Franciele received a graduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2006, a BA in 2007 and specialized in Public Health in 2009 from the State University of Ceará, Brazil. She has a Master's degree from the State University of Ceará, Fortaleza. She worked as a senior embryologist at Bios-Reproductive Medicine Center in Ceará from 2006-2010. Franciele was as a Research Fellow in Andrology/Urology at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic from November 2010 to May 2011.
 


Saleem Bani Hani is a PhD in both clinical chemistry and reproductive medicine from Cleveland State University – Cleveland Clinic collaborative program. He completed his Masters in medical laboratory sciences in 2003 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He joined as a research student in the Center for Reproductive Medicine from March 2009.

Adrielle Xavier graduated from Pontifical University of Goias, Brazil in 2009 in Biological Sciences – Medical Modality (Biomedicine). She specialized in Human Reproduction from the same University in 2010. Adrielle joined the Cleveland Clinic Center for Reproductive Medicine in April 2011 as a Research Fellow.
 


Amani Shaman, M.D., graduated from Medical College, King Saud University in 1999 and completed her residency in Ob-Gyn in 2005. She was appointed in 2009 as the Assistant Professor in Obstetric and Gynecology in Tabuk University. Dr. Shaman joined the Cleveland Clinic in September 2011 as a Research Fellow in the Center for Reproductive Medicine.
 


Dr. Hamada graduated from Al-Nahrain University-College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. He finished his Urology residency from Al-Kadhmia Teaching Hospital in Baghdad. He was an observer in Urology at Cleveland Clinic from October, 2010 to December, 2011. He was appointed as a Research Fellow in Andrology in the Center for Reproductive Medicine in March, 2012.

Helena Malvezzi graduated from Catholic Pontifical University of São Paulo, Brazil in 2008 in Biological Sciences. She completed her Master in Biology of Reproduction in 2011 from the University of São Paulo and did a Specialization in Human Reproduction in Sapientiae Institute, Sao Paulo in 2011. Helena was a Research Fellow in Andrology at the Cleveland Clinic's Center for Reproductive Medicine from Jan 2012 – Jan 2013.

Dr. McGill graduated from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL in 2009 and is a Resident in Urology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a jointly appointed Research Fellow in the Urology Institute at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and the Center for Reproductive Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic from July 2012 – July 2013. His research interests include men's health, male infertility, and radiofrequency electromagnetic wave effects on human tissues.

Dr. Saad is a Urologist at the King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His main interest is in Andrology. He was a Research Fellow at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic from Aug 2012 – Jul 2013.

Dr. Cui is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Toxicology, Third Military Medical University, Chongqing, China since 2007. Her research interests are to study the association between environmental exposure to organic pollutants and sperm quality. She was a Research Fellow at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic from Mar 2013 – Mar 2014.

Eva Tvrdá received her Masters in Biotechnologies in 2009 from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia. Since then she is a PhD student at the Department of Animal Physiology. She joined the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic as a Fulbright research scholar from Oct 2013 – Jul 2014.

Ahmet Ayaz has a Masters from Fatih University, Istanbul and is a PhD student at the Department of Bioengineering, Yildiz Technical University (Davutpasa Campus), Istanbul. He was awarded the TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) Study Abroad Program and was a Research Fellow in Andrology at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic from May 2013 – Aug 2014.
