Dr. Stefan du Plessis is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Medical Physiology, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He has published over 15 scientific papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented 50 abstracts at both national and international scientific meetings. Dr. du Plessis is a member of several professional societies as well as a member of the editorial advisory board for Current Drug Therapy and regularly acts as an ad hoc reviewer for the Asian Journal of Andrology, Fertility & Sterility, and Current Pharmaceutical Design. Dr. du Plessis is the 2007 recipient of the HB Thom International Research Travel Award. He was an International Observer in Andrology and Male Infertility at the Cleveland Clinic's Reproductive Research Center from October 2007 to January 2008.
