Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) Training

Training Modules

Training in various routine and advanced laboratory tests in Assisted Reproduction Techniques (IVF/ ICSI), Gamete Cryopreservation and Andrology is available to interested candidates. Training facilities include dedicated space in TT3-07, TT3-09 and TT3-10 laboratories in the Center for Reproductive Medicine and state of art equipments.

Course location

The course will be conducted in TT3-06, TT3-07 and TT3-09 laboratories of the Center for Reproductive Medicine. Clinical rotation in a human IVF lab is optional and could be arranged at a facility in Akron, Ohio.

Course Overview

The training is offered in response to the large number of requests from andrologists, embryologists and gynecologists from many countries for a 'Customized Hands on training program in Andrology and Assisted Reproductive Techniques'. We offer customized courses in:

Course Objectives

  • Acquire a basic understanding of assisted reproductive techniques
  • Acquire the skills in the use of micromanipulator
  • Impart hands-on training in intracytoplasmic sperm injection
  • Acquire skills in various assisted reproductive procedures
  • Observe aspiration and retrieval of oocytes
  • Participate in interactive sessions/lectures

Target audience

National and International audience comprised of physicians with specialization in areas of gynecology, Andrology and embryology as well other Health Professionals such as Reproductive Biologists.

Accreditation

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of 320 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Participants claiming CME credit from this activity may submit the credit hours to the American Osteopathic Association Council on Continuing Medical Education for Category 2 credit.
