The Cleveland Clinic has joined Novartis, Johnson & Johnson and Wellcome Trust on the Most Influential Healthcare Corporate Venturing Divisions (pdf) list by Global Corporate Venturing, a monthly magazine and website written for the venture capital units of businesses.

The Clinic's corporate venturing arm, Cleveland Clinic Innovations, ranked 27th on the list of 75 influencers picked through "third-party feedback from peers and venture capitalists, funds under management, portfolio size and recent activity, team experience and size," the Clinic said in a release.

The series is designed to give the attendees an in-depth look at the commercialization process by offering a combination of educational presentations, discussion panels and "real life" scenarios from inventors, investors and business leaders, top venture capitalists, entrepreneuers, deal-maker lawyers, and patent attorneys who will lead the sessions. Audience exchange and question-and-answer period will be emphasized. All sessions are free and open to the public. You can attend all nine workshops or choose the sessions that best suit your needs. Registration is requested, but walk-up attendees are welcome.
