Our Team: Commercialization

Jason Ospina, PhD Innovations Associate

Dr. Ospina is a member of our licensing team and primarily focuses on the evaluation, marketing and commercialization of life science disclosures. Prior to joining CCI, Jason was a post-doctoral fellow at Cleveland Clinic's Lerner Research Institute. His research at Lerner centered on the delineation of mechanisms regulating Hedgehog signal transduction and the influence of protein phosphorylation on pathway outcomes. Jason received his Ph.D. in Genetics from Case Western Reserve University, where his thesis work examined nuclear protein dynamics and transport, as well as ribonucleoprotein biogenesis.
