Persis Sosiak is the Senior Director of the Department of Public Health and Research at Cleveland Clinic. Persis has worked for Cleveland Clinic for the past eight years, serving as both a staff nurse and infection control preventionist prior to joining the Department of Public Health and Research.
Persis began her public health career as a Presidential Management Intern, based at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in Washington, DC. During this time, she also served as a legislative fellow for Senator Mike DeWine. In addition to her federal government work, Persis has held positions with the Alexandria Health Department (Alexandria, VA) and the American International Health Alliance (Washington, DC).
Persis earned an MS in public health from Yale University, a BS in nursing from George Mason University and a BA from The George Washington University. She and her husband live in Lakewood, Ohio.
