Sean Hogan is Vice President of IBM Healthcare, globally, and in this capacity is responsible for leading IBM’s healthcare business including strategic direction, investment decisions and operations. Mr. Hogan’s organization leads the development of IBM’s Healthcare Industry Solutions, business partnerships as well as growth and investments initiatives.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Hogan has focused on business strategy, innovation and growth – particularly growth that is predicated on business model transformation and advanced technology. Before assuming his current position, Mr. Hogan held several executive responsibilities within the IBM’s Healthcare & Life Sciences business. Prior to joining IBM’s Health Care and Life Sciences
business, Mr. Hogan was Director, IBM Emerging Business Opportunity group in IBM Corporate Strategy which focused on creation and launch of new growth businesses for IBM.
Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Hogan held leadership positions in several strategy consulting and successful start‐up organizations, including Mainspring, Renaissance Worldwide and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Mr. Hogan earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his engineering and under‐ graduate degrees from Dartmouth College, Thayer School of Engineering.
Sean and his wife Jana live in Ridgefield, Connecticut with their three children, Matthew, Jared and Kate.
