Established as a partnership between the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University, CCLCM is a unique medical school program that sets new standards for the training of physician investigators through innovative approaches to the integration of basic science, research and clinical medicine.
We live in a time of immense expansion in scientific knowledge and technologic capability. With less than 2 percent of active physicians pursuing careers involving research, graduates of CCLCM help address the increasing shortage of physician investigators in the United States.
